Dr. Linda Madyda

DVM

Dr. Linda Madyda graduated from the University of Kentucky and then attended the Auburn University of Veterinary Medicine and received her doctorate in 1987. She has been practicing in Brevard County since 1988 and is one of the co-founders of Viera East Veterinary Center. Her special interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and canine rehabilitation.

 

Dr. Sandra Helpling

DVM

Dr. Sandra Helpling attended Louisiana State University for both undergraduate studies and Veterinary Medicine. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. In September of 2003 Viera East Veterinary Center welcomed Dr. Helpling as a new partner. Her special interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, cardiology, and dentistry.

 

Dr. Darcy Forber

DVM

Dr. Darcy Forber attended Bowling Green State University with a BSBA in International Business in 1991 and then attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate in 2011. Dr. Forber is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. Her areas of special interest are internal medicine, nutrition, and alternative modalities including acupuncture, herbology, and food therapies.

 

Dr. Devon Duffy

DVM

Dr. Devon Duffy graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (AUCVM) where she obtained her doctorate in 2015. She has special interests in avian and exotic medicine, emergency and critical care, dentistry and dermatology.

Dr. Duffy thoroughly enjoys traveling and has engaged in working and research opportunities in Australia and Hawaii. She has served as a Student Ambassador to AUCVM at the Austral University College of Veterinary Medicine in Chile, South America and at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover in Germany. She also completed an externship at The University of Minnesota’s Gabbert Raptor Center.
