Dr. Ray is originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, and currently resides in Melbourne, Florida.
He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Oklahoma State University. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) since 2007, he is a certified specialist in Canine and Feline Practice. Dr. Ray is a member of AVMA, ABVP, AAHA, FVMA, OVMA, and is USDA-accredited.
Dr. Ray developed a strong interest in the veterinary field at a young age, as he began working in all facets of the profession, continuing that focus while earning his undergraduate Biology degree, and then especially through veterinary school and as a graduate small animal practitioner. His specific interests include preventative medicine, diagnostic and internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and discovering new places with his family. He enjoys the many opportunities from living so close to all the central Florida parks and beaches. Dr. Ray is very excited to join the outstanding veterinary care team at VEVC.
