Melanie

Practice Manager

Melanie joined the team at Viera East Veterinary Center in 2015. Melanie started her career in 1999 at a three doctor practice on Long Island, NY where she became head technician and managed both hospital employees and inventory. In 2003 she moved to Florida and worked in the fields of animal emergency and general small animal practice. Melanie lives with her fiancé, 4 children, a Husky named Allie and a goldendoodle named Meeko. She has a very big interest in anything Disney related and even runs her own Disney Facebook page. During her free time you can find her 4 wheeling, hanging out with friends, or enjoying time at the Disney parks.

Jolanta

Canine Rehabilitation

Jolanta joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2005 and received her Certification in Canine Rehabilitation in 2006. She currently leads our rehabilitation center helping our patients with injury, surgery recovery, and pain management. Jolanta has two rescue cats: Cosmo and Slick (Slick is an amputee and does just fine getting around and playing with his buddies). Both were adopted through Viera East Veterinary Center. Outside of work Jolanta enjoys yoga, dancing, and gardening.

Lindsey

Lead Veterinary Technician

Lindsey joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2007 and has a strong interest in surgery and rehabilitation. Her passion is to be an admirable leader and provide excellent care to our patients. She graduated from veterinary technician school in 2012.

Lindsey shares her home with her husband Jordan and son Harper. They have three feline companions, Meow Meow, Pumpkin, and Dew, and a K9 Bandit. Outside of work Lindsey enjoys gardening and watching baseball. She is an Atlanta Braves fan and in her spare time, you can find her outside playing sports with her family.

Donna joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2008 and finds great joy in providing compassionate nursing care and building relationships with our patients and their owners. She keeps busy with her Labrador Retriever/Pit bull mix Skye and her cat Ellie. Donna relaxes by spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, bicycle riding, and taking long walks.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Stephanie joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2020. She graduated from Eastern Florida State College in 2015 with her degree in Veterinary Technology and received her certification to be a licensed technician. Her  veterinary nursing career began in 2014 working in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and has since enjoyed the study of anesthesia. She is currently working on her Bachelors degree in Clinical Studies and Hospital Management in Veterinary Nursing at St. Petersburg College and is projected to graduate Fall of 2021.

Stephanie spent 3 years in Gulfport, MS in support of her husbands enlistment in the Navy. Since then they have moved back to be closer to family. She grew up in Orlando and naturally has a love for the theme parks, especially The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The beach is her favorite place to be but if she can’t go to the beach then the pool is the next best thing. Though she loves all animals she has a special heart for cats. Stephanie shares a home with two cats of her own named Willow a.k.a Gimps and Chip.

Cindy joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2005. She is a native New Yorker and has been a veterinary technician here in Florida since 1988. She has owned five Retrievers, two Goldens and three Labradors. Cindy now satisfies her love of canines here at Viera East Veterinary Center. Cindy has a passion for music and greatly enjoys live performances. She also loves living near the ocean and enjoys swimming.

Rebecca joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2013 and graduated from the veterinary technician program at Eastern Florida State College in 2015. She is committed to helping patients feel better and stay healthy. Rebecca grew up in St. Cloud, Florida and has two rescue cats: Lobster and Leonard. In her spare time she volunteers at her local church, spends time with friends and family, and watches as many rocket launches as she can.

Cresha joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2015. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 2013 with a bachelor degree in Biology. In 2014 she started her career in veterinary medicine at The Cat Doctor in Tampa, FL. Cresha grew up in Wisconsin until 2005 when her family made the move to sunny Florida. Cresha lives with her cats Prince Ali and Baymax, her cute little Chihuahua mix Autumn, and her other mix Dory. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with her pets.

Courtney joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2016 with 5 years of experience in animal hospitals. She started her career in Maryland where she fell in love with being able to help not only people but animals as well. When she is not working she enjoys spending time outside at the beach or on the Indian River Lagoon. She also enjoys spending time with her dog Vivie.

Angie joined the Viera East team in 2019. She has a vast knowledge of animals with 7 years’ experience working in veterinary medicine.

Angie was born and raised in sunny Florida; she has always wanted to work with animals from a young age. She enjoys all the hands-on she gets as a technician and strives every day to learn new things.

Angie has a great love for horses and shows her horse Hippie on weekends. She also enjoys teaching and competing in agility with her own dogs and runs an agility class to help teach others. She lives in a very busy household with 6 dogs and 1 cat.

Lauren joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2017. She was originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but was raised in several parts of Florida. Working with animals has always been a dream and passion for her, and at home, she has 3 pups named Daisy, Dakoda, and Scrump.

Lauren is currently attending Penn Fosters to earn her AS in veterinary technician. She is also Fear Free certified.

While working and learning something new every day is always enjoyable at Viera East, Lauren also likes to travel, attend concerts, and play video games in her free time.

Brooke joined Viera East in 2020. She was born and raised in sunny Florida. Brooke is currently attending Eastern Florida State college with a major in biology. Her goal is to attend the University of Florida’s veterinary program.  

She got her start in veterinary medicine by volunteering at animal shelters where she would walk, feed, and clean the shelter animals. She is happy to expand her knowledge and learn new things here at Viera East.

Brooke is a dog mom to a dachshund Simon. In her free time she loves to paint, travel and go to concerts.

Elizabeth joined Viera East in 2020, but has been volunteering since 2018. Elizabeth was born and raised in sunny Florida. She is currently a sophomore in high school and is also dual enrolled In Eastern Florida state. 

Elizabeth has a passion for music and drama and is in the encore program at her high school.

Her passion for animals started at a very young age. She has organized several donation drives for the local shelter.

When Elizabeth is not at school or working she enjoys listening to music (especially Shawn Mendes) going to the beach, playing with her dog Meeko and enjoying Disney and Universal studios.

Denise joined Viera East Veterinary Center in 2007 and has worked in the veterinary field since March of 2000. She moved to Florida in 1989 and is originally from Massachusetts. Denise enjoys interacting and forming bonds with the pets and their owners, and being an important part of keeping them healthy. Denise enjoys bicycling, listening to live music, reading, and spending time with her husband. At home, she has two feline fur babies, Abby and Ziva.

Bonnie joined the Viera East team in 2019. She has a vast knowledge of veterinary customer service having worked in the field since 2011. Animals are one of her passions; because of this, she has 4 dogs and 1 cat.

On her downtime she enjoys going to the beach, going on cruises, spending time with her husband and 3 children, or just relaxing with her 5 furry children watching cheesy reality shows.

Diana joined Viera East in 2020, Living in Colorado for 20 years she went to Pima medical institute to become a veterinary technician. She has been working with animals for almost 20 years and would not want it any other way. When Diana moved to California to enjoy warmer weather, she met her husband. The Air Force then relocated them here to Florida. Diana enjoys spending time with her husband doing anything that involves water, including fishing, jet skiing, going on cruises, and just being a beach bum.

Chloe joined Viera East in 2020. She has spent over 8 years of her life working with animals. She worked 5 years as a Brevard Zoo Volunteer, being very involved in conservation, Jaguar Society, and events such as "Safari Under the Stars" and "Jazzoo". Outside of Viera East, Chloe provides one-on-one animal care and works closely with fosters from the SPCA. Chloe treats all animals under her care as her own, and at home has 2 Labradors, a rabbit, 2 snakes, and 3 tanks of salt and freshwater fish alike.
